The CHP for Fuji Oil will be able to supply most of the production site with electricity, resulting in significant cost savings. The heat from the engine cooling water system and residual heat from the exhaust gases are used to produce central heating water at around 93°C. By using a steam generator, the exhaust gases with a temperature of approximately 450°C can be used to produce more than 1 tonne of steam per hour at a pressure of 11 bar. Both the central heating water and the steam are used by Fuji Oil in their production process. The new CHP was put into operation in November.
